Quality siding installation and repair that adds protection, durability, and a clean finished look to your home.
Siding is the part of the exterior most people think of as purely cosmetic, right up until water gets behind it. It is the wall’s first defence, and when it fails the damage happens out of sight — in the sheathing and framing behind it — which is why it tends to be expensive by the time anyone notices.
Any break in the surface is a path for water into the wall assembly.
Usually a sign of moisture behind the siding, or of boards that were fastened too tightly.
The lowest courses take splashback and are where rot generally shows up first.
Failed siding often means the insulation behind it has taken on moisture and stopped working.
Paint lifting on interior walls can mean moisture is coming through from outside.
Cosmetic on its own, but it tells you how much UV the material has already absorbed.
Often yes. If the rest of the siding is sound, a section repair is the sensible option. Matching existing siding that has weathered for years is the limiting factor, and we will be straight with you about how close a match is achievable.
Yes, and there is a real advantage to it. The roof-to-wall transitions are where the two systems meet, and having one contractor responsible for both means no one is pointing at the other when water gets in.
For sudden damage such as hail or wind, often yes. Hail dents siding much as it damages a roof, and it is worth having both inspected after a storm rather than just the roof.
It depends on the size of the home and whether there is rot to address behind the old material. We give you a timeline once we have inspected, not before.
